No, Hypercam, we aren’t here to play games! We are here to interview games. Specifically, Nintendo representatives, Reggie Fils-Aimé and Bill Trinen! Or as they call themselves in this tournament, “Nintendo Power”! Representing games such as Animal Crossing, Legend of Zelda, Xenoblade, and Fire Emblem! Let’s not forget Direct Presentation music and Nintendo system software/Wii series (Excluding Wii Music)! Let’s kick things off! So Reggie, I’m sure everyone wants to know, did you retire specifically for this tournament?
Absolutely!… Well, that was a big part of it at the very least. My home will always be at Nintendo, but eventually, you just want to get out there and try something new. Which is why I am here, and ready to kick some ass!
Wowee! You must be really dedicated to winning this tournament! What about your friend Bill here, what made you become a team with Reggie?
Well it wasn’t exactly my decision to make. Miyamoto really wanted Reggie to have a partner, he really wanted Reggie to have that true power from Nintendo. So when I was offered to go, I was hesitant at first, due to being really busy translating. However, they told me if I were to go, I would get “as much donuts as I pleased”, and so I packed my things and headed straight for the tournament!
Bill, you’re telling me that if it wasn’t for donuts you wouldn’t have helped your friend out? What’s wrong with you?
It’s a curse, Reggie. That Yo-Kai has long-term effects, you know. I still see you dancing from time to time.
I feel this could possibly lead to a start of an argument, so please, let’s move on! Reggie, why did you hand off the company to Bowser? What made you feel he is worthy? Isn’t he a villain?
Bowser is very misunderstood. He only wants what’s best for his son and the company, he’s very big on parental controls. Just because he likes kidnapping a princess does not mean he’s a bad guy. Besides, who’s more fitting to own the company than Bowser? A plumber?
Good point. This is a question for you guys both, where did you find Joy-Cons that big? How heavy are those?
Back at Nintendo Japan, there is a safe that contains all kinds of weaponry, just in case of an emergency at the company. Lifting these Joy-Cons is not gifted to anyone, you have to be a chosen one. Someone who is so big in the company, that the soul of Nintendo itself lends you power. You have to train, work hard, and most importantly, have the power of Nintendo among you.
Just because I left Nintendo doesn’t mean I don’t have that Nintendo Power anymore, but without Bill, it wouldn’t be enough. With the power I have, I can at least still make executive decisions still on my part, Bowser and Bill are willing to do anything for me, no matter what.

Just like the development of our games here at Nintendo, things change, they get delayed. Here at Nintendo, we strive for perfection. It’s like what one wise one told me, a rushed KFAD contestant is forever bad, a delayed KFAD contestant will eventually be good.
