…yeah, dear host, don’t get too excited; they’re only two-thirds robots after all. Because indeed, our interview of the day is with the world-famous Daft Punk, alongside their equally world-famous buddy Pharrell Williams! They will not only represent their own songs, but many other sources, including the whole French Touch genre! First of all, let me tell you I am very happy to see you in this tournament, it is an honour for us.

Quite the reunion there, I see! Now, here’s my first question: why did you decide to enter the King for Another Day Tournament?
The answer is simple: to try new things out! Every project we make is sounding different from the ones we did before. We’re always searching for opportunities to go towards new directions.
But you’re representing French House… That could mean you wanted to go back to your roots or to play it safe, right?
I understand why one could think that. But recontextualizing our music is still experimentation and risk-taking in a sense, especially for us. It’s always weird to hear your music beyond your vision and within new realms. But we’re used to remixing our tracks quite a bit, and that’s what we are planning to do if we win the tournament. And we think it will be fun!

I see, interesting answers! Well, how about we ask some questions for you, Pharrell! Why did you join the tournament alongside Daft Punk?
Some nerds in my studio were talking about this SiIvaGunner guy, never heard of em. They told me he was in the middle of his fourth season. I didn’t exactly knew what that meant, but when I heard “fourth”, I knew it was my destiny to join his tournament.
Huh? What is it about the number 4 which is so special to you?
Well, listen to any of my songs, you’ll get it! But anyway, when my robotic friends here got the invite for this tournament, I asked if I could collab with them on this event. Before there even was a gust of wind, they accepted, and I’m very grateful for that!
Yup, collab artists always go together!
And are there any contestants you’re looking forward to facing, Pharrell?
Hmm, if I’m being honest, I’d like to face Mr. Krabs. I am a huge fan of Spongebob, so coming face to face with the Eugene Krabs would be a dream for me.

Lucky? I hope not ! We’ve done our homework on our tracks, so I hope we’ll earn this victory! We guarantee you our takeover won’t disappoint. Well, it might at first, but then everyone will talk about it in 20 years.
